Vietnamese Soul Meets Portland Craft at Portland Cà Phê

Portland Cà Phê is where the vibrant heart of Vietnam fuses seamlessly with Portland’s creative coffee culture. Established by Kimberly Dam after her journey of roasting Vietnamese robusta beans in 2020, this specialty roaster delivers an authentic taste experience rare in the Pacific Northwest. Each bean is grown in Vietnam’s Central Highlands and meticulously roasted in Portland, embodying a dedication to quality and cultural connection. Step inside either of their two lively locations—in Creston-Kenilworth and Eliot—and you’ll be greeted by the aroma of freshly brewed Vietnamese iced coffee, the rich nuttiness of robusta, and the warmth of a space rooted in heritage.

Portland Cà Phê stands out not just for its coffee, but for its menu that celebrates Vietnamese tradition: signature cheese foam-topped drinks, rose matcha, ube lattes, and more. Their bánh mì—crafted using recipes from Kimberly's mother’s beloved House of Banh Mi—are packed with egg butter, pickled vegetables, and fresh herbs. The café also features standout pastries like coffee cinnamon rolls and playful pastry pop tarts from local artisans. For a true taste of Vietnam in Portland, ask for a classic cà phê sữa đá or sample their inventive specialty drinks, and don’t leave without a bánh mì or one of their acclaimed doughnuts.
