The Heart of African Coffee: Pioneering Direct Fair Trade
Founded in 2005 by the visionary brother-and-sister duo Jonathan and Sarah Robinson, this specialty coffee roaster began in Jonathan's garage, fueled by an inspiring 27,000 km road trip. Jonathan's discovery of Fair Trade coffee sparked a mission to pioneer the Direct Fair Trade model in South Africa. This commitment ensures personal relationships with African producers, paying premiums that foster community development.
As South Africa's first roaster of Certified Fairtrade coffee, their dedication to ethical sourcing and quality shines through.Exclusively sourcing and roasting single-origin coffees from the rich landscapes of Ethiopia, Kenya, Rwanda, Burundi, Tanzania, and the DRC, they bring the true soul of African coffee to every cup. A standout is 'Olga's Reserve,' a rare micro-lot dedicated to the founders' grandmother, who first ignited their passion.
