Buna: a bohemian-chic hub curating "funky & surprising" specialty coffees from Europe's top roasters. Experience unique flavors and a vibrant, anti-minimalist community, 365 days a year.

Buna, born in 2019 from the shared vision of two Moscow schoolmates reunited in Lisbon, stands as a vibrant hub in the third-wave coffee movement. Eschewing in-house roasting, Buna acts as a discerning "coffee curator," presenting a rotating selection of exceptional beans from top European specialty roasters. The name "Buna" itself pays homage to coffee's Ethiopian birthplace, meaning "coffee" in its ancient tongue.
Co-founder Anna Sieiro Dos Santos honed her passion for specialty coffee in Portland, Oregon, a city renowned for its influential scene, bringing a deep understanding of quality and innovation.Step inside Buna and discover an inviting, almost bohemian-chic aesthetic, a refreshing departure from minimalist trends. This anti-minimalist vibe extends to its unique 2023 expansion, where two distinct spaces, connected only by a serving hatch, preserve the building's original charm.
Buna celebrates its community with a photobook dedicated to regular customers, fostering a warm, inclusive atmosphere. Open 365 days a year, including Christmas, Buna is committed to accessibility and consistently offers "funky and surprising" flavor profiles through lighter roasts from guest roasters who truly "think outside the box."
Global roasters, unique flavors, bohemian vibe, community.
