Founded in 2015 by Borja Roselló, a former chef, Dalston Coffee embodies a unique journey from kitchen to cup, deeply inspired by the vibrant East London neighborhood where Roselló first discovered specialty coffee. This inspiration is vividly reflected in their highly creative and artistic branding, with packaging designed in collaboration with Barcelona's Ingdid Picanyol and Porto's Lourenço Providência.
The distinctive, colorful box designs pay homage to Dalston's iconic red brick buildings and lively awnings, capturing the area's eclectic spirit and infusing every bag with a piece of its soul.Dalston's commitment to unique character extends to its sourcing, featuring exceptional origins like a washed Tanzanian Kent cultivar from the Tembo Tembo farm, nestled in the rich volcanic soil of the Ngorongoro crater's foothills.
This coffee is a testament to their dedication to quality and nature's symbiosis. Their portfolio boasts creatively named offerings such as the "WHAT THE FUNK" espresso blend and the playfully dubbed "Lord Voldemort" Colombian variety. In their café, staff are renowned for their educational approach, guiding customers through the nuances of each bean, while a rotating selection of guest roasters, including London's Square Mile Coffee, ensures a continually curated and diverse coffee experience.
