Co-founder Carlos Moral, whose father established a coffee import business in 1979, honed his expertise living on Nicaraguan coffee farms and training across Costa Rica, Kenya, and Ethiopia. Alongside matcha specialist Mateo Gonzalez, sourcing pesticide-free matcha directly from Japan, they’ve cultivated a unique character.

Their commitment to flavor purity is evident in their custom-designed roaster, meticulously constructed to optimize convection heat for a cleaner profile, a testament to their innovative spirit.

Their passion shines through their "Competition Series," featuring high-scoring coffees like the acclaimed Torogoz, boasting an impressive 91 SCA score. The Iberian lynx, their critically endangered wild cat logo, symbolizes their mission to illuminate specialty coffee from obscurity. This roastery is deeply woven into Barcelona's vibrant coffee scene, with Moral's brothers also founding respected companies.
