But this isn't style over substance: Nomena is a working specialty roaster, turning out light roasts and a rotating line-up of single origins. Filter is taken seriously here, brewed alongside a confident espresso programme and the usual milk-based staples. The baristas are highly skilled and genuinely friendly, the kind of team that makes a regular out of a first-time visitor. There's a slice of cheesecake if you want something alongside, and plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy the street. Beans are available to take home.
