OneSip: Prague's Pioneering Espresso Haven with a Heart

OneSip stands as an "OG espresso bar," having introduced specialty coffee to Prague's city center back in 2016. Co-owner Zdeněk Hýbl, an award-winning barista, brings serious credentials with a 3rd place in the Czech Barista Championship and 9th in Coffee Masters London. Their commitment to exceptional coffee is evident in their gear, featuring a "killer Kees van der Westen" and a rare mechanical espresso lever-type machine, once unique in the Czech Republic.

The playful wooden interior by Arbau studio and distinctive Danish Aoy studio cups add to the inviting atmosphere.Beyond the aesthetics, OneSip offers a meticulously curated coffee selection, including their own house-roasted Candycane brand and collaborations with esteemed European roasters like Round Hill Roastery and The Coffee Collective.

They're known for unique finds, such as a natural Colombian decaf processed with the sugar cane method, a rarity in Prague. Co-owners Zdeněk Hýbl and Adam are deeply embedded in the wider specialty coffee scene, fostering a strong community where staff, like the barista behind "365 Cups of Coffee," actively engage with customers, making every visit a truly personal experience.
