Orsonero opened in 2016 and is, by near-universal agreement, the place that lit Milan's third-wave fuse. Run by a Canadian-Italian couple, it's a compact, unpretentious bar a few minutes off Corso Buenos Aires — the kind of room where the coffee, not the décor, does the talking. Rather than roast their own, they curate a rotating line-up of Europe's most respected roasters — Gardelli, La Cabra and others — served thoughtfully on espresso and filter, so a return visit rarely tastes the same twice.
