Po Drodze
★ 4.5
Berlin-styled specialty café near Plac Unii Lubelskiej — barista-led, classic and signature serves.
Po Drodze — "On the Way" — is one of the newer additions to Warsaw's specialty map, and it arrived with a confidence that got people talking. Tucked onto Bagatela, a few steps from Plac Unii Lubelskiej, it has the kind of pared-back, light-filled, almost Berlin minimalism that signals serious intent before you've even ordered.
The coffee backs it up. Po Drodze serves specialty both in its classic forms and as more considered signature drinks, the work of baristas who clearly care about the details — one of them, Kateryna Vasylets, has been profiled in European Coffee Trip's Barista Stories series, a nod to the talent behind the bar.
It's the sort of neighbourhood spot that rewards a detour: small, design-aware, and genuinely good. Catch it on your way across town — that's rather the point of the name.
