Rams Roasters

Rams Roasters sits on Neitsytpolku in Ullanlinna, a few minutes' walk from the South Harbour quayside, in a corner spot that combines a roastery floor with a small brew bar at the front. It's one of the cafés that European Coffee Trip routinely lists as a Helsinki specialty must-visit, and the model — roaster up front, bar serving its own beans — is the kind of single-supply operation that defines third-wave coffee at its purest.

The filter programme rotates light-roast single origins from Ethiopian, Kenyan and Latin American producers, with a small handful of espresso blends pulled tight. The bar leans toward pour-over service, but a batch brew is usually running for anyone in a hurry.

Space-wise, Rams is compact and bright, with high ceilings and a counter view of the roaster itself. The harbourside location pulls a mix of locals on lunch breaks, tourists wandering from Esplanadi, and the occasional industry visitor in town for a trade fair. Easy to combine with a walk through Kauppatori or a stop at the Old Market Hall.
