Rituales Café — coffee roaster in Medellín

Coffee Roaster

Rituales Café

4.7

Social roastery working directly with 35 La Sierra farming families on fermentation-forward single origins.

Rituales began with a surprise: when a sample of coffee from La Sierra — a neighbourhood inside Medellín, once dominated by paramilitary groups — reached Cristian Raigosa, the quality stopped him cold. He partnered with Amanda Bravo and Joan Molina in 2017 to build a roastery around it.

The result is one of the city's most thoughtful coffee programmes. Rituales works directly with 35 farming families in La Sierra, paying premium rates and investing in their communities, then takes the beans deep into fermentation and roasting experiments at its own facility. The Laureles café is where it all lands — single origins on espresso and filter, served in a warm, unpretentious room.

Co-founder Amanda Bravo has been recognised in Sprudge's "Women in Coffee" series. Come for coffee with a genuine sense of place — grown, roasted, and poured within the same city.
