Stella Coffee Bar is a place where every cup tells a story of resilience and reunion. Named for the owner's beloved white shepherd, Stella, who is a regular at the café, its soul is deeply intertwined with the personal journey of founder Bassel Abou Fakher. After fleeing the war in Syria, Bassel was eventually reunited with his dog in Belgium, and that heartwarming spirit now defines this unique Brussels coffee spot.

The café radiates a warm, dog-friendly ambiance, most notably through a distinctive wall covered in Polaroid portraits of canine visitors. This isn't just a place for coffee; it's a community hub where customers are greeted by name and a powerful story of survival and love permeates the air.

The commitment to quality is as strong as its community ties. Stella exclusively serves specialty coffee sourced from dedicated plantations and roasted by Wide Awake Coffee Roasters, prepared with precision on a La Marzocco machine. Beyond classic espresso drinks, the menu features unique signature creations like the light, comforting Rose Water Latte and a fragrant Indian chai. This passion extends to a charitable mission, with a portion of earnings donated to animal shelters in Belgium, Colombia, and Lebanon. It’s a venture fueled by the artistic passion of its cellist owner, creating a truly special experience that will soon expand to include an artisanal bakery.
