A Journey of Passion: Porto's New Coffee Frontier

Born from a shared passion ignited while traveling Southeast Asia, Yvonne Spresny from Germany and Morgan von Mantripp from Wales have cultivated a unique specialty coffee experience in Porto's residential Bonfim neighborhood.

With academic roots in law and philosophy, and hands-on experience as baristas, their journey into coffee included visiting farms in Vietnam. Their commitment to fair pricing within the industry drove their decision to roast their own beans, transforming coffee from a mere beverage into a "hedonistic experience" that encourages deeper appreciation.

Utilizing a Stronghold S7 Pro for their in-house roasting, they meticulously craft their offerings, partnering with importers who champion smaller cooperatives and lesser-known origins.

This dedication is exemplified by their feature of a unique, single-varietal Kenyan Batian coffee, sourced entirely from female producer Gloria Gummerus. Beyond the café, they aspire to be a vibrant community hub, hosting educational courses, talks, and events, fostering a deeper connection to the world of specialty coffee.
