Corner Corner

4.7

Duxton kissaten brew bar. Pour-over focus, rare-lot single origins, Honey Geisha from Ching Farm, Instagram-only.

Corner Corner occupies a small shophouse on Duxton Road and operates with the discipline of a Kyoto kissaten — short menu, no website beyond Instagram, no concessions to the brunch crowd. The format is one bar, one filter setup, one focus: pour-over coffee at the level that takes itself seriously without becoming theatre.

The filter programme is where the operation earns its 4.7★ rating. The menu rotates through seasonal single origins with a clear preference for rare-lot work — recent boards have featured Honey Geisha from Ching Farm, the kind of bean that doesn't show up on most Singapore menus and rewards the visitor willing to slow down for fifteen minutes. Espresso is offered but secondary; this is a brew-bar identity through and through.

The room is intentionally minimal: pale wood, clean lines, a couple of bar seats, equipment displayed like instruments. If you want to understand how a Singapore coffee bar can absorb Japanese specialty practice without imitation, Corner Corner is the address.
