Dosis Café

4.2

Light-roast obsessed. Cold-brew & nitro on draught. Full filter menu. Cronut counter.

Dosis Café is one of Roma Norte's longest-running third-wave specialty bars, set on the corner of Álvaro Obregón. The programme is light-roast obsessed and filter-first — pour-over by the cup, cold brew and nitro on draught, batch coffee for the in-and-out crowd.

The espresso menu is solid but the room belongs to filter coffee. Bright, fruit-forward Mexican single origins anchor the bar, joined by occasional guest roasters and seasonal experiments. Order a V60 of whatever just came onto the menu and the staff will pull it carefully and tell you what to taste for.

The crossover with the bakery side is what makes Dosis a destination beyond the coffee crowd: their cronuts and laminated pastries are some of the best in CDMX, and the combination has built a regular line at the counter on weekend mornings. Inside, the room is bright, with a small but workable seating area; outside, the corner pavement gets sun all afternoon.

One of the safer recommendations for a first-time visit to Roma Norte's specialty scene.
