Lisbon's pioneering roastery, born from Russian passion, crafts exceptional single-origin coffees. With on-site roasting, direct trade, and a unique "Shoreditch-like" vibe, it's the soul of third-wave coffee.

Founded in 2015 by two visionary Russian brothers, this roastery was a true pioneer, introducing Lisbon to the then-unknown concept of third-wave specialty coffee. Head roaster Stanislav Bendersky, uniquely inspired by Nuremberg's intimate coffee scene, sought to infuse that same quality and passion into Portugal's capital.
The original café, an offshoot of the founder's nearby Russian restaurant, Stanislav, boasts a distinctive "Shoreditch-like" aesthetic, with upcycled furniture and lights in cages creating a unique vibe within its long, basement-like space. At its heart, the roastery is a testament to meticulous craft. All coffee is roasted on-site in Lisbon using a 5kg Probatone roaster, a proud centerpiece of their operation.
They champion direct trade, forging partnerships directly with farmers to source exceptional beans. Their commitment to flavor extends to distinct roasting profiles: a light roast for filter coffee to highlight delicate notes, and a slightly darker roast for espresso, optimizing richness and body. The menu consistently features multiple single-origin coffees, expertly prepared across a wide array of brewing methods including V60, Aeropress, Kalita, and Chemex.
Pioneering roaster, direct trade, unique profiles, Lisbon vibe.
