Kaph — specialty coffee shop in Dublin

Specialty Coffee Shop

Kaph

4.3

Single-estate focus, HasBean primary, all four manual brew methods, weekly tasting afternoons.

Kaph has been pouring on Drury Street since 2013, a two-storey specialty fixture in Dublin's Creative Quarter. The room is dedicated to single-estate coffee — sourced predominantly from HasBean, the award-winning UK specialty roaster — with a brew-method-driven menu that's still relatively rare in the city.

Order an espresso and it's dialled tight. Order a filter and you'll be offered the choice of V60, Chemex, AeroPress, or French press — each prepared with the care that the bean deserves. The team runs weekly Coffee Tasting Afternoons, guided cupping sessions that walk regulars and new drinkers through what they're actually tasting.

Upstairs, a rotating pop-up gallery showcases local artists alongside the seating, giving the space a culture-hub feel that other Dublin specialty bars don't quite manage. The atmosphere is calm, the music thoughtful, and the long-running staff know their regulars by name. One of the city's most enduring third-wave reference points.
