Kernel Coffee Roasters

Kernel is what happens when competition baristas build their own roastery. The team behind it cut their teeth on the contest circuit — co-founder Ahmet Sait reached the final of the Turkish AeroPress Championship — and they bring that obsessive, measured approach to everything from green buying to the bar.

The operation splits across the Asian side: a roastery in Hasanpaşa where the green is bought, profiled and quality-controlled, and a coffee shop in Suadiye where you taste the payoff. Single origins and micro-lots lead, the hand-brew and espresso programmes are dialled, and the founders put real energy into educating the next wave of baristas through workshops and festivals.
