★ 4.2
Tai Hang small-batch Loring roaster with a pour-over-led menu of Gesha, Kenyan and Cup-of-Excellence single origins.
OMA Coffee Roaster has spent the last few years quietly raising the bar in Tai Hang, one of Hong Kong Island's most charming low-rise pockets. The roasting is small-batch and exacting — done on a Loring — and the menu reads like a single-origin wish list: Gesha, Kenyan peaberry, washed Colombians, anaerobic naturals and the occasional Cup-of-Excellence lot.
Pour-over is treated as the headline rather than an afterthought, and the espresso is just as carefully dialled. Beans, drip bags and even Option-O grinders are available through the online shop, and the roaster has grown enough to open a London location. The Wun Sha Street café itself is compact and calm — a place to slow down with a delicate filter and actually taste what makes these coffees special.
