RAW Coffee Company

4.6

2007-founded UAE specialty pioneer. Q-Grader-staffed roastery, direct trade, 2022 BBC Good Food UAE Roastery winner.

RAW Coffee Company is the Al Quoz roastery that opened Dubai's specialty coffee door in 2007 — back when "third wave" was barely a phrase in the Gulf. Eighteen years on, RAW is still the reference point: a Q-Grader-staffed roastery with documented direct-trade relationships across origin and a 2022 BBC Good Food award for UAE Roastery of the Year.

The cupping rigour shows up in the bag. Single-origin offerings rotate with the harvest calendar; espresso blends are built to highlight terroir, not bury it. They roast on a Probat in-house and supply many of the cafés you'll visit elsewhere in Dubai.

The Al Quoz warehouse is the working roastery and a brew bar — concrete floors, industrial light, the smell of fresh roast in the air. Industry crowd, regulars, and out-of-towners doing the Dubai coffee pilgrimage.
