Roast Story is the kind of Dubai coffee destination you don't find by accident — tucked on the far edge of Khawaneej, away from the Alserkal and DIFC clusters, in a quiet corner that rewards the drive. The pitch is unusual for the region: an artisan roastery that also sells green coffee to home roasters and teaches you how to evaluate and roast it yourself.

The bean range is focused and intentional. Expect rotating single-origins, transparent tasting notes, and the ability to buy the same coffee in either roasted or green form — a depth of offer most Dubai café-roasters don't bother with.

The on-site brew bar makes Roast Story a comfortable destination for spending an afternoon — spacious, airy, engaging baristas, excellent espresso. But the real magic is in the training programme, where the city's home-roasting community comes to learn from the source.
