Scarab Coffee

Scarab is one of Dubai's newer-school roasteries — a café and production roastery in Al Qusais Industrial First that brands itself as the city's "Coffee Tech Co." The Egyptian scarab beetle, symbol of renewal and transformation, is the centrepiece of both the design and the philosophy: bring new technology into specialty roasting and see what the bean can do.

The roastery runs modern convection roasting equipment — a less-common choice in the region — and supplies wholesale partners alongside its in-house brew bar. Expect a clean, well-built menu: espresso, milk drinks, filter coffee, and a small selection of seasonal specials for regulars.

The Store 20 space at JAMS Logistics Building has the right kind of energy — industrial, considered, design-led, the kind of room that takes its own coffee seriously without being precious about it. New regulars all the time.
