Gallery Drip Coffee

4.6

Pour-over-only menu, in-house roasting, photographer-founded, Japanese-style ceramic drippers.

Gallery Drip Coffee sits at the cutting edge of Bangkok's coffee-and-art crossover. Founded in 2012 by photographers Piyachart Trithaworn and Natthiti Ampriwan, the bar is set on the ground floor of the Bangkok Art & Culture Centre (BACC), a short walk from National Stadium BTS.

The menu is pour-over-only — a serious editorial decision in a city where most specialty cafés sell milk drinks first. The team sources single-origin, fair-trade beans from journeys around the world, hand-roasts them in an old schoolhouse, and brews each cup on Japanese-style ceramic Hario drippers with carefully poured water heated to precise temperatures. Beans rotate, and the bar will walk you through what's in cup that morning.

The space is small, calm, and built around a single dripping station — designed for the kind of attention pour-over deserves. It also doubles as a quiet pre- or post-visit stop for whoever is at the BACC that day. A reference point for Bangkok's filter coffee culture, and one of the city's most consistent specialty bars.
