La Cabra Thailand — coffee roaster in Bangkok

Coffee Roaster

La Cabra Thailand

4.4

First international outpost of Aarhus/Copenhagen's La Cabra. Scandinavian light roasts, signature flat whites, pastry programme.

La Cabra Thailand is the Bangkok outpost of Aarhus-and-Copenhagen-based La Cabra, one of Europe's most respected light-roast specialty operations and a regular fixture in international specialty rankings. The Talad Noi location was their first café outside of Denmark — a quiet statement about Bangkok's place on the global specialty map.

The coffee programme is unmistakably Scandinavian. Light, clean, transparent roasts pulled into espresso and filter, with rotating single origins from La Cabra's direct-trade relationships in Ethiopia, Colombia, and Central America. The signature flat white is a benchmark in the city — velvety microfoam over a clean, fruit-forward espresso. The pastry programme is taken just as seriously as the coffee.

The space sits along Charoenkrung Road in Talad Noi, the historic Bangkok shophouse district full of street art and old-Chinatown bones. The interior is sparse and Scandi-minimal — concrete, wood, daylight — and serves as a calm counterpoint to the surrounding neighbourhood energy. A must-stop for anyone tracking the global light-roast movement.
