Rolling Roasters

Rolling Roasters is one of the most design-forward specialty operations in Bangkok. Founded by Itthipol "Joke" Rangsi under the slogan "World Rolls, We Roll," the brand operates two locations — an Ekkamai branch on the eastern Sukhumvit corridor and an original outpost in the Phannok area west of the river.

The bar is built around a Modbar setup — espresso modules integrated flush into the counter, so the extraction work happens at eye level with the customer. It's one of the few Modbar installations in Bangkok and forms the centrepiece of every visit. Beans are roasted on-site, with a sourced single-origin programme that ranges from accessible everyday lots to more experimental seasonal releases. The team designs the space, the bar, and the programme as a single experience.

The Ekkamai location is the more accessible flagship for most visitors — closer to BTS, easier to fold into a Bangkok day. The original Phannok location remains the spiritual home. Either way, Rolling Roasters is the place to see how a specialty bar gets built when design and coffee craft come up together.
